Salt Spring Island Council of the C.W.L meets on an irregular basis. The meetings start with the 9 am parish Mass followed by coffee and a social time. Following a brief business meeting, there is a short spiritual program. Sometimes there is a speaker or a workshop on a topic of interest to our members.

Membership is open to any woman over the age of 16. Annual dues are $30.00, payable in December for the following calendar year.

CWL Meeting

We will be having our next meeting on Thursday, Dec. 8th following the 9:00 daily Mass. Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception seems a very appropriate day. Please pray for us here on Salt Spring, and for a new President and Secretary.

Country Grocer Receipts

In the past year (2019?), CWL has received $1394.73 from the Country Grocer tapes. With this money, we have given $600 to the "Sunday Supper in the Park", $500 to the local school lunch program, $200 to Grandma's House, and $62.75 for a Senior's Teas. Thank you for bringing in your receipts and please continue to do so. The money goes right back into our island community.
