, a Mass for the intention of Palliative Care in Canada and the success of the petition for this care will be held at Our Lady of Grace.
There is a pressing need for all Canadians to have greater accessibility to Palliative Care. It is even more urgent now since euthanasia/assisted suicide is now a legal fact in Canada. It’s up to us to influence the government to provide an alternative to assisted death. Palliative Care allows people who are facing death to receive the love and support that respects their human dignity both physically and spiritually. Nationally the CWL is 90,000 persons strong, and is heard by the government. Their mission now is to continue to approach the government for greater resources for palliative care, so that every person would have the right it. The League invites all people of faith to join together during the National Hospice Palliative Care Week to pray for the success of their mission. We will be joining with Canadians from the Maritimes to British Columbia, all of whom will be praying for the success of the movement to have greater access to the love shown in palliative care in Canada.

Please join your fellow Canadians and parishioners in this massive effort.

PLEASE PLAN TO ATTEND - THIS IS IMPORTANT.   THANK YOU.
