About 9:00 to 10:30am

Meet at Our Lady of Fatima Church, where members of the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St Peter gather for their Masses and parish functions. They are mostly former Anglicans who came into the Catholic Church, beginning in 2012; in Victoria, that included three priests and 1 bishop. Prior to the 9:15 Mass, Fr Carl Reid, their parish administrator, will give us an orientation to the Mass. It is of an old, Catholic tradition and has some Anglican elements, according to special provisions made by Pope Benedict XVI.

(If you arrive before 9, you are welcome to be quietly seated in the church and take in the chanting of Matins/morning prayer.)There will be coffee after Mass, and an opportunity for questions and discussion. For more information on the

Victoria Parish of the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St Peter, and directions to the church (which is across from the Commonwealth Pool)

Tour of the Presentation of Christ (Ypapanti) Orthodox Church, perhaps with Father Evangelos Aravantinos (but yet to be confirmed), and of their Greek Heritage Museum, time permitting. (Admission is free). Link with more information and directions to the church (which is next to the Commonwealth Pool)

In 1054, the Greek Orthodox and Roman Catholic Churches became two separate churches. Those of the Greek Orthodox faith celebrate the Divine Liturgy/Mass in the Byzantine tradition.
