Parish Pastoral Council



Our Parish Council Members are parishioners selected to work with the pastor to ensure the Parish is working effectively. 
Chair: Joyce Maykut
Current Council Members: Mark Dodds, Marnie Homewood, Flo Schreiner, Maureen Fath, and Aurora Shoore.

Finance Committee
The Finance Committee oversees the Parish finances and make recommendations to Parish Council and  prepares the annual budget.                  
Administrator: Fr. Scott Whittemore
Chair: Elizabeth Hengstler
Current Finance Committee Members: Janita McHugh, Joanne Oliver, and Georgina Marcotte.

Children's Liturgy / Catechism
 A special Children's Liturgy is offered at the 10:00 a.m. Mass on Sundays. (Currently suspended due to covid restrictions). Just before the readings commence, all children ages 3-10 are invited to join the teacher for a lively and engaging lesson based on the day's Gospel. They return to their families in time for the Liturgy of the Eucharist.

We also offer a two year Sacrament preparation program for the children.

 Sunday Coffee and Fellowship
 Please join us downstairs for coffee and refreshments after the 10:00 a.m. Sunday Mass. (Currently suspended due to covid restrictions)
Social events for families are organized for the second Saturday of every month beginning at 12:30 pm. Please contact Father Scott for more information.

Altar Servers
Catholic youth, who have received their First Eucharist, are welcome to train as altar servers. 

(Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)
If you've been away from the Church, are interested in becoming a Catholic, or simply desire an adult understanding of your faith, please contact Father Scott.

 Catholic Women's League of Canada
The Catholic Women's League of Canada is a national organization rooted in gospel values calling its members to holiness through service to the people of God. Our members serve in various parish ministries and committees as well as the community.

 Participate in your Mass!
We are happy to welcome greeters, choir members and musicians. (Currently suspended due to covid restrictions).
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved:
